Given that people went bananas for it last time and it made my life substantially easier, here’s a place for everyone to watch today’s second presidential debate.
The second debate is being held in St Louis’ Washington University, with questions being put to both candidates from the audience and moderators. People who submitted questions during the first presidential debate via Facebook will also have some of their questions answered this time around.
Everything kicks off from 12:00 PM AEDT (11:00 AM AQST, 11:30 AM ACST, 09:00 AM AWST). As for actually watching the debate, however, here’s your options:
- Free-to-air TV: ABC, SBS, Channel 7 and Channel 9 will all be broadcasting the debate commercial free today, although the broadcasts will only begin from 1200.
- YouTube: YouTube is simulcasting NBC’s coverage of the debate, which you can watch below.
- Twitter: Like the first debate, Twitter will be simulcasting Bloomberg’s coverage of the debate. You’ll be able to watch and Tweet from this handy page.
- Facebook: Facebook is re-broadcasting ABC News’ coverage of the debate here.

If you or your office has access to Foxtel, you can catch the debate through Sky News Live or the Sky News Election Channel. You can also follow the debate through NPR, which will be fact-checking the debate live, CNN’s live blog and CBS News.
The easiest method, however, will be the YouTube stream above. So follow along — there’s talk of this debate being about as large, viewing wise, as the Superbowl — and please, please play nicely in the comments.

surely we could just give them both some water noodles and watch them beat each other with them………seems like it might achieve more than the last “debate”.
if that’s the case then I’m on the Hillary bandwagon….she going to wreck his shit soooo bad !Nope.
If Hillary doesn’t fire a jab in the vein of “how does that grab you?” I’ll be disappointed.
